Sharkfest

Celebrate all things shark, all day, at CMM! Live sharks will be featured in the museum for viewing. The Patuxent Pursuit
July 17–19, 2026,
An exciting weekend of sailboat racing and waterfront fun to the Patuxent River. Hosted by the Southern Maryland Sailing Association (SMSA), the event features a Friday distance pursuit race followed by a variety of racing options on Saturday and Sunday, including windward/leeward buoy racing and pursuit races for navigators and cruisers.
