Meet at Our Lady Star of the Sea

Come cheer on our local youth as they show off their creatively decorated bikes for Independence Day! Then, enjoy the festive parade as it winds its way through the charming streets of Solomons. Children of all ages are invited to participate!

10 am- Flag raising at Watermen's Memorial

Noon- Boat Parade, starting at Back Creek around to the Patuxent River infront of the Pavilion and River Walk

5-9 pm Live Music - Solomons Pavilion

9:15 pm Watch a spectacular display of fireworks over the water.  But be sure to come earlier in the day to enjoy the array of festivities the island has planned!

A magical night filled with holiday lights, carolers, treats, and small-town cheer. Santa arrives by firetruck, local musicians fill the air with festive sounds, and a parade of boats lights up the harbor. Shops stay open late, vendors line the streets, and the entire island sparkles with seasonal spirit. This much-loved tradition always takes place on the second Saturday in December. This delicious and fun-filled gathering is held at No Thyme to Cook and features a variety of food trucks, live music, and a festive crowd right on the waterfront. Usually held in late March.
