The Solomons Co-op

 Membership in the Solomons Co-op is open to businesses, organizations, and nonprofits that are  located in or serve the Solomons, Maryland community. Members should share our mission  to support local commerce, tourism, and community spirit through collaboration and creative  events.  

Members are encouraged to attend the regularly scheduled Co-op  meeting or send a representative to stay informed, share ideas, and collaborate on  community initiatives.  We meet the first Wednesday of each month at 1:00 PM at No Thyme to Cook 

 While not required, members are encouraged to participate  in Co-op events and island-wide promotions for the good 

 Members may choose to serve on committees that help guide  the work of the Co-op, including: Event Committees — plan and coordinate events such as Shuck It! Solomons,  Scarecrow Stroll, Saturday Night Lights, and Pink Friday. Marketing Committee — oversee shared advertising, social media, and creative  marketing campaigns that promote Solomons. Membership & Outreach Committee — welcome new members

 Annual membership dues are $150 per year, payable at the time of joining and October 1, every  subsequent year.  Funds collected support shared marketing, event promotion, community projects, and operational  expenses. Dues should be made payable to Solomos Co-op and sent to:  POB 276 Solomons, MD 20688  

 Members agree to uphold the Co-op’s vision of “Shining a Light on Solomons — Together.”  Through cooperation, creativity, and community pride, we can continue to make Solomons a  vibrant, welcoming destination for residents, visitors, and businesses alike.
